I have been living in Tokyo for a few months now, and I must say that I am enjoying the contrast to my life in Kanazawa, the sheer amount of people is quite exciting.
The new language school is not the way I was expecting it to be, but nothing can be perfect. I have made a few friends and I even met a drummer, we rented a practice studio and made some music, a nice change of pace to constant studying.
Living with people in the share house is pretty fun, although I might not get along with everyone, and occasionally they make me crazy. We celebrated thanksgiving, one of my housemates, who lived in America for college really wanted to have a proper thanksgiving. Most of my housemates hadn't celebrated thanksgiving, there are 18 of us, 3 Americans and the rest from Japan, and other countries. It is truly a multi-cultural community.
Oh yeah there is construction right outside of my room, I am going to try to change rooms. Right now my room window is facing it :( so loud. ugh.
